NEW WORLD THEATRE (NY)
Materials: Full-Length & One-Act Plays
Open play submissions. New World Theatre is dedicated
to collaborative pursuit of theatre focusing on works that resonate
globally as well as right here in our own backyard. Our hope and goal
is
to highlight our shared humanity in order to learn and to affect
understanding and change in our community.
When submitting your play, please be sure to include the following:
1. Include a brief synopsis of your piece.
2. Provide a character breakdown (i.e. number of men, number of women,
ages, etc).
3. List any technical requirements (i.e. a live goat must drop from the
rafters).
4. Please let us know how your piece applies to New World Theatre's
artistic objective (see above - a paragraph or two will be sufficient).
We may not be able to respond to all submissions, so please accept our
thanks in advance for your interest!
