Professional ApprenticeshipGloucester Stage
Gloucester Stage, a professional Equity theatre in Gloucester, Massachusetts (outside Boston), seeks creative, hard-working, collaborative theatre makers to join our inaugural apprenticeship program.
The program is designed as the optimal experience for college graduates. Our goal is to build a strong ensemble in which every member has a voice and plays a role. Upon completing a season with Gloucester Stage, apprentices will have worked on all Mainstage productions alongside professional theatre makers and will have been an integral part of running a theatre. The season culminates with a holiday show, to be designed by members of the apprentice company. Housing and a weekly stipend are provided. After a season with Gloucester Stage, apprentices will have the depth of knowledge to form their own companies, seek full-time employment with professional theatre companies, or pursue graduate degrees.
