HUNTINGTON THEATRE COMPANY
We're looking for good stories well told. We'll consider any genre or style. We're unlikely, however, to produce: biographical plays that attempt to tell the entire life story of a historical figure, or plays with excessive profanity to no purpose.
Seeking full-length plays, musicals, translations, adaptations, and solo pieces
Unsolicited submissions from Boston-area writers only. All other scripts must be submitted via an agent, or the Artistic Director or Literary Manager.
Due to the large number of submissions, and the small size of our Literary Dept, we ask that you please adhere to our submission policies. We do not accept queries, synopses, or script samples we accept whole scripts only (include a cd with musical submissions). If you would like your script to be returned, please include an SASE with sufficient postage.
We are dedicated to new play development, and have a special interest in fostering the work of Boston-area writers. Please see our website for a list of past productions.
