No subject restrictions. Plays can be about either contemporary or historical subjects, comedies or dramas. Currently we do not develop musical projects.

We are a new non-profit theatre company whose core mission is to promulgate the role and status of the playwright in American Theatre. Our entire operating board is composed of produced playwrights.
In addition to 2 mainstage productions about approximately 6-8 new plays readings a year, we offer interviews, seminars, master classes and panels for the public that further our commitment to the American playwright and to playcraft.
For material you submit, note that we seek well-written work that showcases your unique voice and abilities. Send the piece that pushes your vision to its furthest extent. So if you feel that you still haven't found your unique voice, please pause before submitting a play. And if you are a novelist or poet who's just decided to dabble in play writing and are about to stick your very first play into an envelope for us to read, please stop now! Wait until you've completed a second, and had at least one production - we seek work only from committed playwrights who have had experience forged in the smithy of production, loved the experience, and want more.
