Founded in June 2002 by Artistic Directors Elizabeth Horn and David Epstein, Invisible City Theatre Company is dedicated to providing a creative environment that fosters imagination and risk-taking in its artists. Through the production of classical texts, contemporary plays, and new works, ICTC hopes to shed light on some of the nuances, trials, and triumphs of being human. In its inaugural season, ICTC presented the world premiere of Midnight by David Epstein, The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson, and Danny and the Deep Blue Sea by John Patrick Shanley. Midnight will be published in the fall of 2003 by Smith & Kraus in NEW AMERICAN PLAYWRIGHTS: THE BEST PLAYS OF 2003.
